MODERN ETHNIC FT MAYANK MODI

It’s that time of the year again. The festivities have begun, the online mega shopping sale is on (that’s the first thing we notice these days before any occasion) and yes we all are looking forward to be in our best attire. With festival season embarking upon us, everyone has their own version of ethnic and traditional attires ready. As I have spoken about ethnic every season, I have tried to give you guys something which is doable and yet in vogue.  From exploring kurtas with layering of blazers on top to the new version of bandhgala with a shirt kurta, you guys have seen me style that in my past blogs at the time if Diwali. Though you can still try these trends this year as well as they do not go out of fashion. A kurta worn with a patiala is always a classic and never fails. But we men any which way have less options and when it comes to look apart from crowd, it’s time to step up the game.

The pairing of this floral shirt in the shades of autumn and the hint of blue with a viscose cotton bright blue pant jama is perfect for a a day as well as night affair. The shirt is so versatile that it can be worn with a classic trouser and some brogues for a more modern look. The print of the shirt also reminds you of the marble carvings at Taj Mahal. The combination is comfortable for being home with family on this festive occasion. keep it simple with a leather sandal with a hint of tan and compliment it with the tan watch and some wrist accessories.

This new age trouser can also be paired with a basic kurta as well. Keeping with the festive tones, make sure you wear bright colors to go with it. The reason behind choosing this shirt and trouser combo was to stay away from the basic kurta payjama which we have been doing for years and try something new. It’s true that these trousers won’t be available in the market easily but you can find them at Mayank’s store in Leela Palace, Bangalore and also on his website.

Hope you guys liked this look. It;s not necessary to go with the same look this festive season. You can try this color combination as well in whatever you have available around you. Do share what you wore this Diwali with me. That’a all from me this time. I wish you all a very happy Diwali. have a safe and prosperous one. Till then, stay stylish :)
